Festo workstations in lab and videos

Festo lab

Location

The Festo workstations can be found in Gem-Z 0.08, which is accessible via Gem-Z 0.07. Since there is not much room in the Festo lab in Gem-Z 0.08, you may use one of the work places present in Gem-Z 0.07 to prepare for testing on the actual Festo workstation, but only if you have made a reservation for a time slot on a Festo workstation around that time.

Lab rules

• The Festo workstations cannot be visited unattended. You are allowed in the Festo lab only under supervision of a staff member. Starting in the second week of the course, a staff member will be present at the Festo workstations if you registered via MS Teams.

Reservation

• Go to MS Teams

• Open Files → General → Physical FESTO planning

• Put your group name in a timeslot

• Make sure to read TwinCAT PLC control of Festo workstations before entering the lab
